Toyota Highlander 2018 center console tray

The center console tray in our 2018 Toyota Highlander was a bit oversized, making it hard to access items beneath. The assembled tray measures 217mm wide. It can work well as one tray or print two that slide apart. My printer wasn't large enough for a single print, so I split the model into smaller pieces (200mmx200mm print bed). I printed four pins and secured each wing piece with two pins, starting diagonally and then straight in after sliding into place. The original tray has sticky felt pads on its sides to reduce vibration, which peel off easily for reuse as shown. I used PETG mainly because I didn't have black ABS available. Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Maker Select v2.1 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .32 Infill: 40 Notes: Printed in petg (abs would be fine). PLA cannot take heat without deforming over time. The printer was modified with an all-metal hotend, which requires a higher temperature setting. I used 250 for the hotend and 75 for the bed, with no fan. To achieve strength, I used three walls and 40% grid infill. The results are very satisfying.
