Toyota Engine Compartment Seal Clip

After replacing my cracked windshield with the help of a reputable national replacement service, I noticed excessive moisture accumulating in my Toyota Avensis D4D Tourer's engine compartment. Investigating the source of the issue led me to identify the faulty seal at the top of the bonnet. Upon closer inspection, it became apparent that the seal had come loose from its original attachment point, causing it to shift to improper positions. Although I'm hesitant to criticize the previous windscreen installer for their part in the problem, it's undeniable that there was visible evidence of attempted concealment surrounding the area where they secured the new windscreen. Glue residue was evident on the seal, suggesting that a prior technician may have attempted to disguise any damage or malfunctions from their work by re-applying glue. To correct this issue and prevent similar problems in the future, I created three replacement clips for my Toyota Avensis's engine seal. These clips were printed using a 3D printer with pink filament, as my initial green supply was depleted. Before use, the 3D printed parts underwent acetone vapor treatment inside a DIY device fashioned from an £10 coffee filter maker purchased at PC World. Bath Robotics and I accept the EurIng Andy Southern challenge to make open-source designs available on a daily basis. To meet this commitment, here is today's contribution - the 11th design shared since commencing our New Year's resolutions. This particular clip fits Toyota models but is not an original Toyota component.
