Toyota Corolla (2004) Air Vent Blade

Toyota Corolla (2004) Air Vent Blade

This is designed for a 13-year-old Corolla. Two blades from an air vent were broken. It's crucial to note when printing: do not use supports. The model includes very small supports for each of the three cylindrical axes (the cylindrical parts that must be inserted inside the vent). So, take care to print no more than 0.1 mm layer height for the supports to print correctly and if you want to rotate the model in your slicer, supports must be on contact with the bed. After printing, remove the three small supports using a razor blade. I printed this using M-ABS (a type of ABS) because it's a little bit more flexible than PLA, making it easier to insert the blades into the vent. However, PLA should work too. If necessary, after printing, sanding a little bit around the cylinders can help. The new blades are numbers 3 and 4 starting from the top of the vent.
