ToyBox Spool Containment/Holder MODULAR
prusaprinters
Got a job from a client of mine to 3d print a holder for his ToyBox 3D printer's spools. I looked up the sizes and got to work. Out came this! The base of the box sits at a slight angle (1.5 degrees, I think) so that the rolls do not come out. I've designed one box to hold 3 spools of material, and each can connect to another via the pins supplied. For connecting on the side, you'll need to print the pins, insert them into both prints, then glue. For connecting on top, just slide one box onto the other and glue! I've attached the necessary files. This design already has tolerances built in for the pins, both side and top. Scaling up or down shouldn't be necessary. I'm still in the process of building my last two out of four, but they have fit perfectly so far. This print fits on most prints, including my Prusa Mini+, as well as my DuoLab (with an A8 printbed).
