I am using this toy truck to demonstrate Lean manufacturing assembly processes. Each vehicle requires 4 o-rings measuring 14 x 2 x 10 mm and 4 screws to secure wheel hubs in place. Print four hubs and four wheels. Small parts can detach and pose a hazard to small children. Truck body right (1 ea) Truck body left (1 ea) Wheel hubs (4 ea) Wheels (4 ea) O-rings 14 x 2 x 10 mm (4 ea) - Available on Amazon 7mm x 16mm x .08" Plexiglass panel for windshield (requires laser cutting) (1 ea) 1/2" #6 screw and nut (1 ea) Small screws (Mouser part number: 523-52500014-734) Remove the protective plastic from both sides of the window. Insert one side of the car with the window. Insert the other side of the car with the window. Insert the nut into the hex slot and screw in the #6 screw. Attach o-rings to the wheels. Mount hubs onto the wheels and secure to the truck using small screws. July 28, 2018 - Window size on the car body was corrected, previously too small.
