Toy Truck
grabcad
Experience a simple toy truck, crafted using an Ultimaker 3D printer, designed for durability against children's rough handling. The axles are printed in halves and glued together for ease of printing. Axle positioning is secured by grooves on the axles, which fit into matching extrusions in the chassis and frame. Wheels attach to the axles using self-tapping screws that pass through wheel centers and tap into axle faces. Wheel designs feature countersunk screw heads for safety. The "connection pattern" on each wheel and axle ensures smooth spinning even with loose screws. Assembling this 106mm x 81mm x 65mm, 326g truck takes less than 10 minutes: print four wheels, four axle halves, a chassis, and a frame; glue axle halves together, attach wheels to axles, place the red frame with grooved axle slots upside down, add the black chassis with aligned holes onto the frame, securing it with screws from below. Enjoy your durable, kid-proof truck!
