To replace a toy train's key is surprisingly simple when armed with basic DIY skills and patience to see your plan through from start to finish. You will only require a spare piece of metal as a new key and access to various DIY tools including, pliers and scissors, among others. Here is how it can be achieved: Cut a thin strip off the metal and use the strip of metal you just cut out and insert the thin part of the key into the strip to create the small notches that hold in the mechanism of the train. By bending each piece as far as you can, this will help ensure they fit together perfectly. You then apply some small glue at either end to make sure everything remains securely fastened over time. Next thing you know your old broken key works just like new once again and continues on for many adventures yet to come.
