Toy Train Garage for wooden Railway (BRIO) Simple railway garage for parking toy trains. Compatible with Brio and most other wooden railways. The garage consists of seven printed parts; the track/building, the roof, three windows and 2 doors. Print in PLA with 0.2 – 0.25mm layer height and 15% infill. Use a minimum of 3 layers. The track and building are combined into one print. Use the Cura filament change function if you want to print them in different colours (check in slicer preview to find correct layer for change). Support is needed. I used tree support (touching baseplate) in Cura 5.4.0. The roof is printed vertically, also with tree supports for the tabs. The windows and doors are printed with the flat sides down. Use 0.2mm layer height and 20% infill for these parts. After printing, clean the holes in the building and doors using a 2mm drill. Cut two pieces of 2mm diameter steel rod 51 mm long and round the edges using a grinder. These are the door axles. The optional third rod is 2mm x 65mm long with a blade ground into one end. It can be used to clean the holes if you don’t have suitable drill. Assembly: - Check the widows fit into their openings and that the roof keys fit into the positioning slots on the building walls - Check the rods fit in the building holes and do not protrude above the top walls - Now remove the rods and position the doors in the garage opening with the window frames outward. Fix the doors in position with the axles and check they move freely. - Place a few dabs of plastic glue on the window frames and push them into the openings in the building. They should be a snug fit, so make sure they are all the way in before the glue sets - Place a dab of glue on each of the four roof tabs. Position the roof edges to line up with the front and rear of the garage. Press down until the roof sits flat on the building walls
