Notice: I have redesigned the hitch with inspiration from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4263829 by DEG1941 I have modeled a similar hitch to be beefier for a toddler's punishment. DEG1941 thank you for the inspiration! The models with the old pin hitch have been deleted.Old WARNING for prior model: The torture test reveals that the pin style hitch is not sufficiently strong on this initial version. I am redesigning the hitch so that it won't break. Stay tuned. THIS HAS BEEN CORRECTED IN THE MODELS UPLOADED!A toy train with wheels similar to the toy truck in my profile. I print this at 30% infill with PLA and used 4 wall lines. I also use tree supports as they separate very well from the models. Due to expansion on my printer, post-print I drill the wheel axel holes at 4 mm and the hitch hole at 6.5 mm to clean out. I also tap the beginning 2-3 mm of the wheel axel holes with a 4 mm tap (optional) to help in starting the stainless M4 x 12 cap screws that act as the axels for the wheels. I have not yet had my nephew torture test this model but I tested the hitches before printing the full model and could not break them with as much force as I could muster by hand. No guarantees, though, a 3 year old boy is a tough animal LOL. Fully assembled this train is about 3 feet long and took several days to print on my Ender 3 pro. I printed each car in a different color for visual interest. Good Luck. No warranties are implied or expressed print at your own risk.
