Made a model for a Sword Hilt, for use with 1/2" PVC pipe and 1/2" foam insulation to make a play sword. VERY loosely based on the cover art of the book Blood Song by Anthony Ryan.I use this to do some gentle swordplay with my kids. I'm pretty sure if you swing hard even with the foam on it, you could end up bruising someone, so don't think the foam allows you to go all out with this.
