Toy Soldier Army Men Artillery Officer (remixed, improved stability)
prusaprinters

Designed to be printed BIG. When I was a boy I wanted big army men, and they didn't make any. The full size G.I. Joes were far too expensive for this poor boy.

It's now the future and I can ensure my nephew has huge, giant army men to play with.

I made a remix of mal_dog's officer, as his base was slightly canted and you had to remove almost 2mm from the bottom to get a flat surface. Printing him big made him faceplant.

I added a 75mm base, plus three artillery shells for frontal weight and looks, now he looks like he's range finding for some howitzers.

Print at 155mm height so that he's the same size as the other models I will upload eventually.

The goal was to make a simple, durable, nigh indestructible toy. If you are able, print it in green ASA so it's UV resistant. This will ensure decades of use, and a century of durability.

Print Settings

Printer:

Voxelab Aquila

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

0.20 layers

Infill:

15% 3D fill

Filament:
GST3D pla+
ARMY MEN

Notes:

Supports are needed, manually remove the few singular straggler supports before printing.

Category: People
