Toy rocket, with USB lithium battery charger and LEDs

thingiverse

This toy rocket comprises three parts and features USB-powered lights. A generic USB lithium battery charger was acquired from eBay (as shown in the photo) for charging the battery while controlling the LEDs via a switch. To accommodate the switch, a hole was drilled on the side of the rocket. The mid-section has four partial spheres with 5mm holes inside for attaching the LEDs. Additionally, there is a USB slot for the battery charger (located at the bottom, inside the main "engine") and slots within the base to retain the charger's PCB. Mechanical drawings were created using FreeCad (the source files are available upon request). The rocket should be printed in stages, with the USB charger easily slotting into the base. A wiring schematic will be published shortly.
