Toy Rocket
thingiverse
I designed this toy rocket with durability and multiple colors in mind, ideal for my 18-month-old grandson who can't get enough of it. He adores playing with it! There are five components to the toy: a main body, base nozzle, and three stabilizing fins, each capable of being printed individually. I printed the model using PLA with a 0.5mm nozzle size and 0.4mm layer thickness, requiring no support or overhangs, making it suitable for any 3D printer without special calibration, cooling systems, or heated beds. The fins can be easily inserted into the main body from the bottom side, producing a snug fit that requires no additional adhesives or friction welding in most cases. A detachable base nozzle is optional; I secured mine using a 3mm self-tapping screw with some necessary drilling. Friction welding would also yield suitable results.
