Toy Racecar Getting Pushed off the Build Plate
thingiverse
You need to flip up the rear wing of your racecar during the print, after the main part is done. If you leveled the build plate properly, the extruder head will push the car off it once the hovering line in the CAD file gets printed. You can also add more cars to the job to turn it into a fun racing game! Check out this detailed tutorial video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iaZVLy8YHoA&feature=youtu.be or read about it on our blog post here: https://wordpress.com/post/84694066/63/ Instructions: Before you start printing, make sure your build plate is leveled so that the part doesn't stick too well to it. Be warned, if it sticks too tight, you risk damaging your extruder head. The goal is to have the part loosely attached after pausing the print for the next step. After finishing the car section of your print, pause the job and flip up the rear wing of the car. This will make the part taller than your extruder head, causing it to push out whatever cars you've placed on the build plate when the hovering line in the CAD file is printed.
