My kids are huge fans of BattleBots and inspired me to create a set of toys that they can be a bit rough with without fear of breaking the more expensive Hexbug toys and also using only 3D Printed parts. This Lockjaw toy is one of my favorites.

All “pins” are sections of 1.75 standard filament snipped to length. Parts held together with super glue where appropriate.

I was pretty generous with clearances for the pin holes in any place where it needs to freely spin, but if the wheels or weapon refuse to spin, just hand twist a drill bit through through the opening to open it up.

Glue the washers on to the pin on the outside of the wheel. Don't let any glue touch the wheels. This will let the wheels spin freely.

The pins that support the forks are hidden once the weapon mount is glued in place, so make sure to do them first. Only the weapon mount will require supports, and only to hold up the circular brackets around the weapon.

Be sure to lay everything flat with your slicer. A lot of the parts were exported in the same orientation they are on the model.
