Toy Horse Jumps
thingiverse
To create horse jumps for her model horses, I designed a set of jumps at a scale of approximately 1:20. The simple variant (A) requires printing two copies each of A_base and A_post STL files. Assemble the posts in the square holes of the bases. Additional cross bases can be used as separate risers for cavalletti. The complex variant (B) involves printing two copies of B_base, B_top, B_post_1, and B_post_2 STL files to form a square frame. Insert 2x B_side_full or 4x B_side_half into the slits in top and bottom parts for the filler. Crossbars can be substituted with hot glue sticks wrapped in colored sticky tape. Adhesives can be used for permanent bonding, but the parts should hold without it. For added realism, print stickers with logos to affix to side parts. Mix and match various types and combinations to recreate a realistic show jumping course, typically consisting of 7-16 jumps.
