My daughter likes horses a lot, having whole herd of the model ones. So I created a set of horse jumps for her.

Scale is (very roughly) 1:20, fitting the common horse figures.

Print instructions

Category: Playsets Instructions

There are two variants, files for the simple one starting with A_ and for the more complex one with B_.

Variant A
To make one set of jumps, print 2x both of A_base.stl and A_post.stl. Put the notch in post to square hole in the cross base.

You may want to print additional cross bases, because they may be used as separate risers for the cavalletti as a small jump.

Variant B
To make one set of jumps, print 2x each of B_base.stl, B_top.stl, B_post_1.stl and B_post_2.stl. This makes the square frame. To fill in the frame, the easy way is to print 2x B_side_full.stl and insert it to slit in the top and bottom part. The slightly harder way is to print 4x B_side_half.stl and put them back to back to create a crosshatch.

Crossbars
I didn't print the crossbars, because they're supposed to be round in shape and thus are hard to print. I used sticks of hot glue instead and instead of painting them, I used colored sticky tape to make the strips.

Additional tips
You may use hot glue or superglue to put the parts together permanently, but they should hold just fine without it.

For added realism, you can print stickers with logos and stick them to square areas of side parts.

Print mix of various types and combination. In real show jumping courses there are 7-16 jumps.
