To create a Duplo helicopter for my nephew, I designed a 2x2 Duplo-sized cockpit with just studs for his figure. The rest of the model was made simpler to cater to his age. It works well with various Duplo bricks. For smaller parts, I tried a 1/2 scale version that fits regular lego-sized studs. However, due to my limited engineering skills and printer capabilities, there may be some structural issues and tight tolerances might not be met. To assemble the helicopter, print and clean up the parts, sand the rotor holes and posts for smooth rotation, then snap them together. Adding glue can provide extra strength. The original larger rotor didn't fit my printer, so a smaller version was created; both are included in the photos with different scale prints.
