toy cordless screwdriver V2: new version with cross bit • this cordless screwdriver is a toy - no real screws can be unscrewed with it. there is a battery installed, but it cannot be removed by children's hands. the bit is permanently installed. the button has two pressure positions. this allows the screwdriver to be turned left and right. the button is large enough and can be pressed easily. • it is a cube to play with is included with threads through all 6 sides. you can screw in one (x)long screw and four short screws at the same time. there is a special version of the cube and the screws. these do not tighten at the bottom of the cube and can be easily unscrewed at any time. this is ideal for children's hands. • for the assembly you need: 4 screws - M3 x 16mm and three nuts M3. the big bit screw it or glue it. for the button, two microswitches (13 x 6mm). the motor is used in many places and is easy to get (15 x 20 x 25mm / 2mm shaft / 1.5Volt). contact plates 10 x 9mm for the battery slot. • connection is simple and it looks worse than it is: on the microswitch the contacts are labeled. connect NO together and to battery contact, NC together and to the other battery contact, C to the engine. pictures show the wiring diagram and how it can look like. press everything flush into the lower shell and glue it with hot glue. the switches have to be glued because the function of the push button is not guaranteed. cut off excess glue with a knife. it should look like on the pictures. • the links and pictures help to understand the parts and their parameters: https://aliexpress.com/item/4000061349756.html https://aliexpress.com/item/1005001308633882.html https://aliexpress.com/item/32868241769.html • all parts are printed without support but with bridge setting enabled. it is best to clean the gears with a fine steel or brass brush after printing. for easier turning of the gears and less noise you can use silicone grease. i hope you and your kids have fun with the cordless screwdriver ;) https://youtu.be/oIIMpbJkysI
