<ul> <li>scale to 134% [will be improved later]</li> <li>4 walls</li> <li>supports[?might be ok without, untested.]</li> <li>adhesion [optional]</li> <li>low quality [.28mm]</li> <li>infill [might be optional, I did 20% cubic for the heck of it]</li> </ul> <p>Just thought it would be cool to share for other parents during these rough times,</p> <p>I was looking at the other drum stick designs and was thinking it seemed like a waste to print essentially a stick, and so I designed these drumstick caps to go on the ends of colored pencils [or whatever round stick with some scaling/trial error]</p> <p>I messed up the initial measurement so I'd say try printing at about 133.333...% scale I went up to 134% then I simply used some gorilla glue [via gluestick I think most sturdy glues should work ok.] and presto, drum sticks for toy drums/glockenspiels/etc, not tested for serious drumming lol let me know if you decide to test at own risk haha.</p> <p>As far as printing, I used PLA, it's a simple print I used adhesion and supports [might not need supports but it's such a small print why not] I upped the walls to 4 and used cubic infill at 20% being as small as it is not sure how much a difference it'll really make lol also worked fine on low quality.</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer:</strong></p> <p>Artillery Sidewinder</p> <p class="detail-setting rafts"><strong>Rafts: </strong> <div><p>Doesn't Matter</p></div> <p><strong>Supports:</strong></p> <p>Yes</p> <p class="detail-setting resolution"><strong>Resolution: </strong> <div><p>.28</p></div> <p><strong>Infill:</strong></p> <p>20</p> <p><strong>Filament:</strong></p> PolyMaker PLA <p>Black looks pro af</p> <p><br/> <p class="detail-setting notes"><strong>Notes: </strong></p> </p><div><p>it's pretty simple, 4 walls is probably the biggest tip, 20% infill but remember to print at 133/134%, pencil widths may vary I'll update this again later, it's late but felt like sharing had fun.</p></div> </p></p> Category: Music
