Toy Biplane
thingiverse
A cute little biplane toy, roughly based on the German Albatros D.Va from WWI, but "chubbified" and simplified. I used the [Albatros D.Va](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4406914) by [sonycrow](https://www.thingiverse.com/sonycrow) as a starting point for the plane's geometry. The plane prints in one go, standing on its nose, with **supports enabled** (touching buildplate). Same goes for the prop, which will also need supports. I recommend enabling support interfaces. Also, you should use a brim to keep the upper wing from tipping over till the first pair of wing struts is bridged. The prop is simply glued onto the nose after printing. You should be able to use any filament you like. The model in the photo was printed from woodfill PLA, but more for decoration purposes. The wing and landing gear struts wouldn't survive being used as a toy with this material, but any other material should be fine.
