Town of Longyearbyen
thingiverse
Do you detest the chilliness of winter? If so, you can create a miniature replica of Longyearbyen, Norway's coldest city. This way, when feeling despondent about the freezing temperatures outside, you can gaze at your tiny Longyearbyen and remark to yourself, "At least I don't reside there!" For added brilliance, insert LEDs into the houses to illuminate your town for an extraordinary effect once the lights are extinguished. Check out our blog post on this print here: http://www.yourwildworld.com/friday-town-of-longyearbyen/ Instructions Print out your house in a vibrant color of your preference and matching balcony hue. Roofs work exceptionally well in grey and black, while the platform, snowbank, and connectors excel in white. We employed 10% infill with 2 shells, requiring no support structures. Once you've printed an entire house and platform, connect as many as you desire. The balcony slides seamlessly into slots in the recess on the front of the house, giving it a polished appearance. For a genuinely authentic Svalbard evening ambiance, set up an LED array to shine from within the houses, injecting a sparkly essence to your miniature town.
