Towers of Letters
thingiverse
I came across Roman Hegglin's incredible Tower of Pi, which motivated me to create my own little program that can generate various towers of letters. One fascinating example I've produced is Lincoln's Gettysburg Address arranged vertically. Instructions To achieve this, the Perl program reads a set of 3D letter models in STL file format (often exported from Sketchup) along with an input sequence of ASCII letters. It then computes the resulting STL file by stacking the letters to form a tower. A pretty straightforward task. Special thanks to Roman Hegglin for sparking this idea.
With this file you will be able to print Towers of Letters with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Towers of Letters.
