Tower of Fang - from Sorcerous Stabber Orphen

Inspired by a location from the fantasy series Sorcerous Stabber Orphen. Sorcerous Stabber Orphen (魔術士オーフェン, Majutsushi Ōfen, lit. "Sorceror Orphen") is a series of Japanese fantasy adventure light novel series written by Yoshinobu Akita. It was adapted into manga, anime, and a videogame (from Wikipedia). It's the 25th Anniversary of the series, and we share this as part of our Fantasy collection--a landmark that is strikingly original, beautiful, majestic, and brings back great memories! The Tower of Fang (牙の塔, Kiba no Tou) is an important location in the city of Tafrem (or Taferemu), in the world where this series takes place. It is a School of Magic where the most powerful sorcerers are trained. The series protagonist, Orphen, attended this school in years previous to when the main events take place, back when he still used his birth name Krylancello Finrandi. In the Tower of Fang, he trained along other fellow students such as Azalie and Heartia under his master Childman, one of the most powerful sorcerers ever. Orphen still wears the pendant that all students from the Tower wear: a silver dragon clutching a sword. This symbol seems prophetic of Bloody August, a dragon that wreaks havoc in the Tower and flies away with the Sword of Baltanders. This model is based on the appearance of this location as seen in Orphen: Revenge, the second anime season from 1999-2000. In the first season, it is shown as a more traditional straight tower, with windows, made of brick, and with a slated roof. We are confused as to why both towers seem to coexist in the show and have the same name. Our best guess is that the curved, white structure is understood to be an ancient ruin left by the "Celestials", an ancient magical race, and named "World-Seeing Tower". People gave it the nickname "tower of fang" because of its white, pointy appearance. Then, the Magical Institution or Academy took the name "Tower of Fang" from the original building although it has now several more buildings and even campuses where students live, train, etc. The straight brick tower might be one of these "newer" buildings belonging to the Institution, but itself is NOT literally the Tower of Fang. In the 2020 anime remake Majutsushi Orphen Hagure Tabi, the tower appears again although less curved and pointy. Anyway--confusing stuff due to lack of documentation online and things lost in transaltion and dubs. Designer Dany Sánchez took several creative liberties with this model, since this building gets very little screen time. This model is Support-free, and comes in regular or dual-color versions. It can be printed with Mosaic Mfg Palette or Prusa MMU, or with a standard setup, one part at a time with different filaments.
