I've got an unfinished 3D model of a Tower Crane that's still in the works - I designed it based on images from the internet and went a bit overboard with the dimensions since I initially thought about building it out of plastic. Unfortunately, the cable work is not fully completed due to a lack of information about the cable system. If anyone happens to have some info they could share with me to finish off this design, I'd greatly appreciate it - please send me an email and let's collaborate. I want to mention that there are exploded views of the assembly attached, along with part names labeled. In this model, I took some liberties with the steel beam dimensions for simplicity - feel free to adjust these in the .prt files if needed. Keep in mind that this design is purely based on internet photos and shouldn't be taken too seriously just yet. At present, this model consists of 21 parts: 1. Apex 2. Apex rear connector (connecting 'apex' to 'rear pendant counterjib conector') 3. Cabin 4. Cable connector (linking the two 'rear cables' holding the counterjib) 5. Counterweight segment 6. Crane body ground base segment 7. Repeating crane body segments 8. Crane climbing segment 9. Crane cabin segment 10. Crane jib base 11. Crane jib end section 12. Main jib segment 13. Motor unit behind the cabin 14. Fore cables (holding the jib) 15. Fore cable connector 16. Unfinished fore jib connector part (connecting 'crane jib main' to 'fore cable') 17. Rear cables holding 'counterweight segment' 18. Pendant counterjib conector 19. Trolley assembly 20. Small trolley part without a cage 21. Complete Assembly
