TOWER CRANE -ASSEMBLY- Free 3D model
cgtrader
I've designed an unfinished 3D model of a Tower Crane using images found on the internet. Most components are over-dimensioned since my initial plan was to create a plastic model. Unfortunately, my research only provided basic cable system info, leaving most cable work unfinished. If you have more specific details or clarification regarding the cable system, I'd greatly appreciate any additional information. You can reach out to me via contact and help refine this design further. In this model, you'll notice the following assembly components: 1. Apex 2. Rear Counter Jib Conector (connection between the 'apex' and 'rear pendant counterjib conector') 3. Cabin 4. Cable Conector (connection between two 'rear cables' supporting the counterweight) 5. Counter Weight Segment 6. Crane Body Segment Ground Base (ground support segment) 7. Crane Body Segment (repeating segment) 8. Crane Climbing Segment 9. Crane Cabin Segment 10. Jib - Base (jib segment attached to 'crane cabin segment') 11. Jib Last Segment (end of the jib segment) 12. Jib Main Segment (repeating jib segment) 13. Motor (cabin-side motor unit) 14. Fore Cable (repeating cable supporting the jib) 15. Fore Cable Conector (connection between `apex` and `fore cable`) 16. Fore Jib Connector (incomplete connection between 'crane jib main' and 'fore cable') 17. Rear Cable (repeating cable holding 'counter weight segment') 18. Rear Pendant Counter Jib Conector (connection between 'rear cable' and 'counter weight segment', and 'rear cable' and `apex rear conector`) 19. Trolley (cage-equipped trolley with long cable) 20. Trolley SC (trolley without cage, equipped with short cable) Due to technical difficulties, I wasn't able to save this design in STEP format. Instead, an Assembly component has been provided. You can modify steel beam dimensions within the sketches of corresponding .prt files for optimal results. Keep in mind that my design is purely theoretical since I've based it on publicly available internet photos. Treat any resemblance between this model and real-world Tower Cranes as mere coincidence. As a side note, all components except for some specific part numbers have not yet received precise names within exploded view image included in this design upload
