This is a nearly complete 3D model of a Tower Crane, designed using solely the images found on the internet as reference. Initially, I overdimensioned many parts with the intention of producing them in plastic. The cable work remains incomplete due to my lack of understanding about the intricate cable system; any information or expertise would be greatly appreciated. A detailed exploded assembly view has been uploaded, along with an annotated version where every part name is specified. For your awareness, I took a lot of creative liberties with this design since most of the measurements are estimates derived from online images, therefore this model's dimensions cannot be entirely relied upon. Furthermore, real steel beam profiles weren't used in my model; however, these dimensions can easily be adjusted through sketches within .prt files. So far, the assembled 3D model comprises twenty distinct components: 1. apex - a fundamental element. 2. apex rear conector (serving as a vital link between the 'apex' and the 'rear pendant counterjib conector'). 3. cabin (main housing of controls). 4. cable conector (linking the two 'rear cables' which in turn support the 'counter weight segment'). 5. counter weight segment - responsible for maintaining balance. 6. crane body segment ground base (a base element connecting directly to the ground). 7. crane body segment - successive repetitive segments that constitute a significant part of the tower's length. 8. crane climbing segment - a critical piece in allowing for movement along the jib. 9. crane cabin segment - an assembly consisting primarily of electrical controls and other systems. 10. crane jib base (segment connecting directly to 'crane cabin segment', also acts as its foundation). 11. crane jib last - marks the culmination or final section of this portion. 12. crane jib main (identical components repeated multiple times). 13. motor unit behind the cabin where movement takes place. 14. fore cable (multiple repetitive strands securing support at jib). 15. fore cable conector (interconnecting `apex` to the strand which constitutes a significant structural feature).
