Tower Bridge Mousetrap

Tower Bridge Mousetrap

thingiverse

A printable mousetrap inspired by London's Tower Bridge was designed for Cathal Garvey's "Mouse Get" challenge featured on Thingiverse blog. The elevator moves along rails from entrance ramps, but only one entry point is available. Fievel gets a last meal, but ends up on the ground floor thereafter. Untested, it requires straight rails and a fine-tuned bot for optimal performance. The design process was enjoyable. An update includes Rails_System.zip with dxf and openSCAD files of sliding rails for easy manipulation, even for those without programming experience. Optimization is desired for future applications. Just print 2 entrance.STLs and 1 elevator.STL, add cheese or peanut butter against the back wall of the elevator, tape sliders lightly, and wait to see who visits.
