Towelclip v2: Spring clip

I like clamps that hold properly. My first version had the problem that it was difficult to open and if it is often properly bent up, it tends to no longer close properly.

I then found this inspiring - press to open - pretty smart! And I've long thought that clothespins could be a good source for 3D ideas.... The mix is this v2 version: the clasp goes open when pressed and they provide enough pressure when closed due to the clothespin springs.

The pressure is with the bit of support (see .3mf), worked very well, the support came off very easily. The metal springs go with a little Friemelei well on it (the best firstinmal the two clamp ends on the area where you squeeze it on and then just hold the clamp closed and push from behind the spring in the right position. This also makes the popular "click clack" and then the spring no longer goes back.

Another "problem" is the suspension. Of course you can use filament, that's the easiest. But I wanted to use TPU filament again, which is not so easy to melt together. I did it with pertial metal heat protection (so that only certain places melt) and wooden gutters (the gutters in the clothespin wood slightly processed; so that the TPU ends stay in position), the couplings then disappear in the spring and look excellent.

about the files:

just take FederKlammer_4.3mf and customize it (make sure the Start G-Code is yours!)

or use the .stl and create the mini support yourself (just the outer corner, pattern spacing: 1mm)

the .scad file is the source for the .stl. I used less “scad” but more “svg profiles” and it needs the svg files: form1, form2, hole1 and betwn2. They must be in the same folder

the “FederKlammer_4.svg” is my Work utensil
