I've found inspiration in Terminus' Towel Ring design on Thingiverse, specifically in http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:182896. I've designed two versions - one featuring a circular base and another a rectangular one. While the circular base has my heart, printing it successfully three times proves to be a challenge due to the inevitable warping. With this insight, Version 2.0 is an effort to minimize warping by reducing the surface area exposed. Attaching this towel ring will be easy with 3M strips directly onto a cabinet door. When deciding to go for the aesthetically pleasing circular base, Using a brim print helps minimize the distortion on printing large parts.
