Problem: A friend desperately needed to multitask while shaving, so I came up with a solution that would allow him to do just that. Solution: I designed a clever holder that could be attached to his towel rack. The mechanism relies on a sliding element that moves smoothly based on the resolution of the design. Depending on how precisely it's printed, the slider will glide freely or slightly more constrainedly. To keep everything in place, a rubber band can be used through pre-drilled holes or the horizontal ridges on the print bed will suffice. This innovative holder is designed to fit standard-sized smartphones with cases. When printing the parts, make sure they're oriented upright: the main body should have its screw hole at the bottom, while the slider is printed upside-down with its holding edge facing downwards. Finally, the screw has its head positioned at the bottom of the part.
