Towel Rack - Art Deco Functional towel racks utilize standard wood lath as the bar, offering both single and double versions to meet diverse needs. A compact bathroom necessitated a custom-designed towel rack that perfectly fit its dimensions, prompting the creation of an off-the-shelf solution. Local lumber yards offer economical packages of pre-planed wood lath, measuring 1 ½ in x 3/8 in or 38 mm x 9 mm. To assemble the printed pieces and wood lath, a mixture of standard epoxy glue thinned with alcohol is applied using a foam brush, resulting in a hard and durable finish. Version 5 & 5B provide an additional 25 mm of drying space between towels on the double rack. Printed in PLA at .3 mm layer height with 15% infill and 3 vertical shells, these towel racks are then primed, painted with copper metallic, and coated with epoxy for a durable finish.
