Towel Holder

Towel Holder

I've been experimenting with this design for quite some time now, and it finally works as intended. Overcoming the challenges was a major accomplishment - getting the teeth to function properly and determining the optimal stiffness of the part so it could securely hold a towel in everyday use was no easy feat. Conventional 3D printing techniques often struggle with pretensioned parts, but this design cleverly sidesteps that issue by creating two identical halves that fit together, overlapping at the clamp. As a result, you'll need to print two separate pieces to get one complete hook. This design is surprisingly robust and can hold a standard full-size bathroom towel with ease. The clamp mechanism is incredibly effective, making it difficult to pry open initially. Assembly is straightforward, and I was pleasantly surprised that the two halves held together without requiring any glue - it's an impressive feat of engineering.
