Towel condition indicator
thingiverse
Indicator hand to indicate whether the towel should be switched to a fresh one after drying. If you are like me, you don't have a regular schedule for towel exchange. When I use a towel, I think, "This is the last time; next time, I want a new one." Fits towel racks with a 9.7mm bar diameter. The problem is that I notice this once I come out of the shower. Then the towel is wet and needs to be left to dry. What then happens is that I go to shower, forget that the towel is not good anymore, and then when I pick up the towel, I notice it is not good... and now I am wet, jumping to get a new towel. Not good. So why not have this kind of indicator? If the indicator is down -> change the towel when it is dry (before entering the shower next time). If it is up - all good! Material is PLA; print time is roughly 15 minutes. I also included a picture of the first prototype without the indicator hand. It was used to measure the right thickness and the correct amount of curves.
