Hi there, Here's a solution that gives you a better saber feeling on your Oculus Quest. No controller modifications are required, and it was designed from scratch using the original Oculus CAD files. A single thin support structure is all you need. To assemble the handles, thread the strap with the locking part at the lower end through the hole at the bottom, then pull it slightly to tighten the rubber straps. Next, push in the locking plug (the flattened side towards the strap). To disassemble, simply use an Allen key to push out the plug. To avoid damaging the original straps, ensure that the plug has no sharp edges where it comes into contact. For a Darth Maul setup, you can insert a piece of 18mm tube into the bottom of the handle or design an adapter. You can also attach hand grips to the remaining part of the original strap.
