Touring Plate Bracket Fastener for BMW E39

I recently acquired an E39 Touring, and I was missing one crucial component to secure the plate bracket (plinth). The previous owner had taken a shortcut by using silicone to hold the panel in place. This solution left me unsatisfied, so I took matters into my own hands. Determined to find a proper fix, I contacted the dealership, but they were unable to locate the necessary part in their system. Their incompetence raised some red flags, so I decided to take a closer look myself by checking realoem. To my surprise, even that yielded no results for a part number. Undeterred, I turned to Fusion360 and created these parts from scratch. Keep in mind that this is my first attempt at designing anything, so bear with me. I made two revisions of the bracket: **(bmw_plate_plinthe_v3)**. The original version fits snugly and locks securely – it's a good idea to apply some RTV or Butyl Rubber around the hole to prevent water intrusion! **(Nut.stl /Thread.stl)** is the second option, featuring a threaded design that allows you to attach an M8x1.25 nut on the back. This modification was intended for individuals who may have corrosion issues around the hole, making it too large for the snap-in option. I printed these parts using my CR-10S with 99% concentric infill, five walls, and a 0.12 layer height at 35mm/s. Hopefully, these designs can be of use to someone else as well. Cheers!
