Tourbillon - spring version
thingiverse
This is a modified version of A26's tourbillon design, sourced from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2751917. Initially, I encountered issues printing the original model, so I decided to create a more modular variant. Two versions were designed - this spring-driven model and its counterpart, which utilizes weights for power. Both designs share cross-compatible parts, with only the fork requiring support during printing. Additionally, you'll need specific components: * 1 x 608 skateboard bearing * 2 x M3 countersunk bolts, each 40mm in length * 2 x M3 counter sunk bolts, each 10mm in length * 3 x 1mm metal pins, approximately 22mm long Update - Friday, March 13th, 2020: I updated the STL file named "frame_b" to a new version called "Frame_b_8mm." The previous design was too large for the bearing. Thankfully, Void pointed out my mistake. Update - Tuesday, April 14th, 2020: It has been brought to my attention that the instruction PDF incorrectly states that 1mm pins are required to secure the small gear-pallet and spring. In reality, 2mm pins should be used instead. I appreciate Brudary for correcting this error.
