Touchable Regulator of Coffee Roaster is designed for coffee shop staff who work with limited sight. I visited a coffee shop with my friend several months ago and initially didn't know that all the staff members were visually impaired until we noticed one of them using the regulator on the coffee roaster, relying on a magnifying glass to help. At first glance, it was surprising to see how they adjusted the regulator, but what truly touched my heart was their genuine enthusiasm for their job. Despite the challenges and inconvenience that came with it, they shared their passion for working in the coffee shop, which inspired me to create the Touchable Regulator of Coffee Roaster. My goal is to make their work easier by designing a device that allows them to adjust the regulator using distinct colors to check the scale and feel the edges to determine how much they've adjusted. This way, visually impaired staff can navigate the coffee roasting process with greater ease and confidence.
