I redesigned the touch probe I created two and a half years ago. Ideally, parts should be machined on a lathe and milling machine from metal, but they can also be 3D printed with slightly less precision. Compared to my previous design, this one is more compact, and if manufactured correctly, it should deliver precision and repeatability of better than 0.01mm.
