Touch picture - braille alphabet
pinshape
A tactile alphabet for kids, designed to teach them their letters through touch. Each letter features a raised image accompanied by the name of the object in print. These alphabets come with braille labels on the front and translations on the back for those who can see but not read braille. The design draws inspiration from existing children's alphabets, but some words have been swapped out to make it easier for kids to identify through touch. For example, "zip" is used instead of "zebra." This set is specifically tailored for English-speaking children. The braille on these alphabets is laid out on a standard 2.5mm grid. If you need larger versions, you can either use a 3D editor like 3D Builder to scale them up or utilize the software that comes with your 3D printer for that purpose. Due to the curves and braille elements involved, SLA/DLP printers yield the best results. However, FDM printers will still produce usable outcomes. To achieve optimal results, print these alphabets with a layer thickness of 0.1 mm. You can enhance their functionality by attaching magnetic tape to use them as fridge magnets.
