I'm Not That Kind of Person As I was getting ready to leave for work this morning, my roommate asked me if she could borrow some cash from me. Now, I know what you're thinking - why wouldn't I lend her the money? After all, it's not like she's asking for a loan or anything. But here's the thing: I'm not that kind of person. I don't do loans. If you need something from me, you can ask and I'll either give it to you or tell you no - but a loan is never an option. It's just how I was raised, I guess. My parents always said that if you lend someone money, they're going to take advantage of you, so I've always tried to avoid lending cash whenever possible. Now, I know some people might think this is a pretty harsh policy, but let me tell you - it works for me. I've never had any problems with people taking advantage of me because I don't lend money. And if they need something that badly, they can either save up for it or find another way to get it. It's not about being mean-spirited; it's just about setting boundaries and being responsible with my finances. And besides, if someone is really in a tight spot and needs some cash, I'm always happy to help out - but only if they're willing to pay me back, of course!
