My daughter is absolutely hooked on Anime, while I've been experimenting with sun catchers lately. So, here's Totoro. This simple sun catcher is printed without any fancy multi-material mechanisms. The frame acts like the lead in a stained glass window, requiring transparent filament and a switch to black at the layer where the lead lines would be. Once finished, the colored pieces are carefully glued into their corresponding gaps within the frame. I used PVA glue and allowed it to set over several days. Due to the tight tolerances, you may need to sand down the parts slightly to get them to fit properly, depending on your printer's precision.
