Totoro selfwatering big pot
thingiverse
I upgraded the pot to a larger design, eliminating the need for printing oversized statues that can fit small plants. This subtle adjustment saves plastic and proves beneficial when working with limited printer capabilities. Additionally, I placed the miniature companion on the ground, ending its hovering days. The changes are minimal, yet thoughtful. The front of the pot is not perfectly smooth due to existing holes; I chose not to start from scratch, conserving time and effort. I left the leaf decoration intact, appreciating how it adds a natural touch with its unique holes. This attention to detail makes the overall design more appealing. To ensure accuracy, I adjusted the orientation of the entire piece so that it faces straight on, allowing slicers to display precise measurements without any misalignment issues caused by previous prints.
