Totoro Night Lamp

Totoro Night Lamp

Update: I recently acquired a lamp from Gearbest (https://www.gearbest.com/outdoor-lights/pp_378424.html?wid=1433363) and built a custom lamp stand for my 150mm Totoro. To assemble the project, you'll need to disassemble the lamp and trim the solar panel to its edges, which measure approximately 64mm on each side. Cut the battery pack to fit within its dimensions (59x20mm), then sever all the wires and arrange the components in place before soldering them together. Finally, simply place the Totoro on top of the assembly. While my solution may not be visually appealing, I believe it's a great way to repurpose an old lamp. If you have a better approach, feel free to share it with me; otherwise, enjoy this DIY project! I designed and 3D printed a hollow Totoro using Glow in the dark filament at 50 microns, which took approximately 13 hours to complete. My goal was to create a night light for gifting purposes, so I developed a custom stand that incorporates space for a solar panel and battery pack. The Totoro sits directly on top of the panel, which houses two LED lights and a light sensor. As a result, the lamp charges during the day and turns on automatically at night.
