Totoro
thingiverse
I'm not familiar with Japanese animation characters, but one name stands out - Totoro. I've recently started exploring 3D modeling in 3Ds Max and just created a Totoro model to share with you. Be warned, though, it's a bit rough. The original model was plagued by weirdly-shaped lips and forehead parts, which I spent some time revising. Fingers and toes also got an overhaul, and I thickened them up. Rumor had it that the first initials mark would be printed incorrectly on my design, so I smartly hid it beneath the main model. By January 19th, a redesign was complete. This Totoro model in STL format bears no secret messages like its sibling - no initial markings visible here! All that remains now is applying a fine finish. After carefully sanding and varnishing with white lacquer, acrylic paint added depth to my miniature creation. To seal everything in place, I sealed it with a coat of water-based varnish for extra durability.
With this file you will be able to print Totoro with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Totoro.
