Toshiba 42ZV555DB replacement power switch actuator part

The power switch on my Toshiba 42ZV555DB television finally gave up after eight long years of service. It turned out that one of the internal plastic parts had snapped in two, rendering it useless. I had bought a replacement switch, but unfortunately, it remains unused to this day. Therefore, I took matters into my own hands and designed a brand new version from scratch. This new design is significantly thicker than its predecessor in almost every area, which should greatly improve its longevity. I also made the decision to slice it with an 80% infill, which will undoubtedly increase its strength. Don't even think about asking if this switch will work on other televisions - I have no idea if it will or won't. The only thing I can confirm is that it works like a charm on my Toshiba 42ZV555DB, since that's the model I own. Here are the print settings I used for this project: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: M505 (a variant of the Prusa i3) Rafts: No rafts were printed with this design Supports: None required Resolution: 0.2mm layer height Infill Percentage: 80% infill to improve rigidity A note on print settings - I highly recommend using a high infill percentage, such as 80%, to ensure the finished product is nice and rigid. I also always print with a brim, which in this case was set to 6mm. As for the design process, I used OpenSCAD to bring my creation to life. I carefully took measurements from the original switch using digital callipers to get it just right.
