TOS Styled Miranda

TOS Styled Miranda

This is my concept of a TOS styled Miranda, meticulously crafted from various people's ideas and carefully edited to incorporate only what I deemed essential. While there may not be a universally accepted version, it was designed with the intent of paying homage to the classic engineering hull of this iconic vessel. Notably, the design bears some resemblance to Star Trek: New Voyages' Copernicus ship, which boasts an impressive and intricate design that earns high praise from fans and designers alike. Although I considered modeling the Copernicus ship directly, its unique features would have altered the overall aesthetic of my creation. As it stands, I'm pleased with the more traditional engineering hull in my design. Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Maker Select Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .1mm Infill: 20% Notes: This is printed at 75% the original scale, and I commend anyone who successfully prints it at full size! At 100%, the scale would be 1:1240; at 75%, it's 1:930. If my calculations are accurate, this means the Nacelles in The Original Series measure 156m long, while those on the model reach a length of 228mm.
