An updated script is now available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2365162 from June 5, 2017. This revised script generates torus knots based on the parametric formula from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torus_knot. The unique feature of this script is its ability to scale the toroid's width (Twidth) and height (Theight). This allows for the creation of braids with small Twidth, centerless toroids when Twidth equals 0, and planar patterns when Theight equals 0. However, it should be noted that resolutions below step=2 may take significantly longer to preview and render to STL due to processing time. At step=2, each 10-sided shape takes approximately 12 minutes to render on a laptop, while step=1 increases the rendering time to about 50 minutes.
