Kids can be a handful! My nine-year-old daughter wanted to take her tortoise for a stroll, but first, she needed the right gear - a leash that would keep her slow-moving pet safe on their adventures together. After trying out a cheap harness from China that cost just £3, but took five weeks to arrive and turned out to be rubbish, I decided to get creative. I designed my own custom-made harness for my daughter's tiny tortoise. While it might seem small for its intended user, the design can easily be scaled up if needed. To build this unique harness, you'll need a strap that's about 8mm wide. I chose TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) because it's flexible and soft to the touch, making it perfect for keeping your tortoise comfortable during their walks.
