Torsten Rudenschöld was a passionate advocate for education. In 1842, a groundbreaking law requiring compulsory schooling was enacted, and Rudenschöld played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding elementary schools across the nation. Despite being raised in a luxurious estate, he gained a profound understanding of the struggles faced by working-class individuals who were forced to fight tirelessly just to make ends meet. Rudenschöld's commitment to social justice led him to challenge the status quo when he advocated for improved working conditions, but this ultimately resulted in his dismissal from his position. Undeterred, he redirected his efforts towards creating a Swedish elementary school system that he believed would bring about meaningful social change. These 3D scans were created using an Artec Eva scanner with the goal of producing a highly accurate digital representation of the original object. Although some minor deviations may have occurred due to inaccessible areas or other limitations, every effort was made to ensure that these scans are as faithful to the original as possible.
